Mr William Greenwood

William has more than 53 years’ experience in healthcare and social enterprise work – his roles have included Chief Executive of a NHS Shared Services Agency and Family Practitioner Committee, a Director with Strategic Health Authorities, supporting the development of over 20 social enterprises and of course his current role with Cheshire LMC.
William has worked at local, regional and national level, the latter with the Department of Health, as part of the team developing the original QoF scheme.
William joined the Cheshire LMC in late 2014 supporting the development of the organisation, to make it ‘Fit for the Future’ and widening its services to member practices. He brings with him the technical knowledge around the GP contract. He has long been inspired by the innovation, adaptability and energy of GPs and their teams to improve local services for people.

I am Cheshire LMC Chair. I have been a GP partner in Chester for 26 years.
Over the years have been involved with Chester Locality/Network and its predecessors, Chester East PCN and various initiatives and leadership groups.

I am a GP partner in a rural practice in West Cheshire. I am dispensing representative for Cheshire LMC looking after the dispensing rights for practices. I am also Finance Director for the LMC.
I have special interests in minor surgery, COPD and Asthma. I have been a member for the Cheshire LMC since 2013.

I am a GP partner at Broken Cross Surgery in Macclesfield, East Cheshire. I represent the practices in Macclesfield PCN. I am also an Associate Medical Director for Cheshire LMC and the Care Community Clinical lead for Macclesfield Care Community. I have clinical special interests in sport and exercise medicine and drug and alcohol misuse. I have been a LMC member since 2017.
Dr Tiina Ashton
I am a GP Partner in the market town of Frodsham, in a practice with 18,000 patients and a large rural community. My interests are in Women’s and Child Health and I am Safeguarding Lead for our practice. I sit on our PCN board and have been a member of the LMC since 2018.

I have been a partner in a practice in Northwich, Cheshire since 1994. I am a joint clinical Director for Northwich PCN and also a board member for the South Cheshire and Vale Royal GP Alliance. I have an interest in child and women’s health and dermatology.
I have been an LMC member since 2010.

I am a salaried GP at Fountains Medical Practice, part of Fountains Health and Chester Central PCN. I attend LMC meetings on their behalf and also to advise on ICT matters. I am Clinical Lead for ICT for West Cheshire CCG and Clinical Advisor to the Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership. Previously I have been a GP Trainer, and now I train Physicians Associates and Medical Students as part of the practice team alongside the Fountains Integrated Care Home Service. I am helping with the Cheshire LMC education steering group as I believe education is key to evolving how we practice in response to demands, how we make the most of the ICT opportunities available and in maintaining our interest and abilities in our work.
I am keen to use our ICT resources to help share information and support practices, and am always interested in any ICT feedback so please contact me if you have a question or want to be involved in ICT development.

I am a GP partner in Alderley Edge, Cheshire. I represent East Cheshire GP Federation (Vernova Health Care CIC) as a co-opted member of the LMC as well as the PCN. Since 2015 I have been a GP trainer and have an interest in GP education. As a keen runner this has resulted in an interest in sports medicine and sports injuries.

I recently joined Knutsford Medical Partnership in August 2020 as a new partner after spending the previous 7 years working in London. I work 7 sessions a week and my interests include Diabetes and Cancer care.
Dr Laura Neale
I am a Salaried GP at the Hungerford Medical Centre and represent the Practices within the Crewe area (Hungerford, Grosvenor and Rope Green PCN). Before becoming a GP I trained in Hospital Medicine and have an ongoing interest in Care of the Elderly Medicine.
I completed my Primary Care training in 2019, and have been a member of the LMC since 2020.
Dr Susannah Ball
I am a GP in Crewe and represent the practices of Eaglebridge PCN. Having qualified as a GP relatively recently in 2018 and then starting as a GP partner in 2020 I have a personal interest in GP education and First5 GPs. I have been an LMC member since 2019.
Dr Peter Leftwick
Originally from London/Essex, I qualified MBBS (London) in 1993 and, after a year living in Spain, I moved to Cheshire in 1997. After 9 years working in hospitals in A+E, medicine and anaesthetics/ITU I completed my GP training in 2003. I have been at the Audlem Medical Practice throughout my GP career, as trainee, locum, salaried GP, Partner and now Senior Partner and now work 7 sessions a week there.
I previously spent 15 years also working part time in medical education at The University of Liverpool, but now my only work commitment outside the practice is as Nantwich and Rural PCN LMC representative.
Dr Nichola Bishop
I have been a GP for 12 years, and recently moved to Alsager to be nearer my home and family. I enjoy getting to know my patient as a whole person, and not just as a disease. I have special interests in Minor Surgery, Women and Children, and Diabetes. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my children, running and watching Dr Who.

I am a GP partner in Chester/ West Cheshire. I represent the practices in Chester East PCN and I have a personal interest in GP education, leadership development and practice premises. Previously I was a Governing Body member of the local CCG with a special interest in Mental Health services for young people. I have been a LMC member since 2019.
