GP contract changes are you plugged in?
On 4th October, speaking on the Andrew Marr Show, the Prime Minister, David Cameron, announced that the Government would be publishing a ‘new’ GP contract. He suggested that the new contract would get rid of box-ticking and form filling. Instead, it would focus on “making sure people can get access to a GP on a seven day a week basis between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm”.
